Programme

Objectives

The European Master on Advanced RObotics (EMARO) programme is designed to promote a high-quality educational offer in the area of advanced and intelligent robotics. By mastering Mathematical Modeling, Control Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Design, students are able to deal with robotic systems as a whole.

Through lectures by reputable researchers, practical work on the latest experimental platforms, sessions with industrial specialists, and a dual approach to robotics thanks to their mobility in Europe, EMARO students acquire the most advanced knowledge that will prepare them for the upcoming challenges in robotics.

Students graduating from EMARO are awarded two Master's degrees from the partner institutions of the programme: the University of Genova in Italy and Centrale Nantes in France. These two were both previously involved in EMARO+ EMJMD and share a common vision of Robotics

Label of excellence

This Master's programme was twice selected under the European Programmes of excellence: in 2007 through the Erasmus Mundus Programme (EMARO) and in 2014 through the Erasmus+ Programme (EMARO+).

The Master's programme remains active through a Double Degree agreement implemented in 2019.
